Participants can still register on-site during the event.The first 100 K-12 students to pre-register will receive a special goody bag and all pre-registrants will skip the regular registration line to get priority access to the event. Have a blast and try your hand at a contest on Tuesday, April 27th when the Institute for Defense Analyses hosts an evening of hands-on science, math and technology for all ages. Explore how wind turbines work and design your own. See what is happening inside your body using ultrasound visualization. Test how many lightbulbs you can power just by riding a bicycle. And, try to build a paper plane that travels the farthest and turns most accurately to win an iPod nano. Refreshments will be provided and raffles will take place at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30PM. Parking is free.
Goody bags plus speedy on-site registration are available for the first 100 attendees to RSVP with the names of all K-12 participants.
